Plein Air–Easton! Announces Dates & Updates for 2008
4th Annual Competition & Arts Festival to be Held July 21-27, 2008
Important Dates
December 1, 2007: 2008 Competition Prospectus released to artists and general public
March 3, 2008: Submissions deadline for entry in national competition
March 24, 2008: Announcements of Competition Artists
July 21-27, 2008: Competition & Arts Festival
The following members have been named to the Executive Committee:
- Executive Director: Al Bond (Town of Easton/Easton Main Street)
- Director of Operations: Jessica Rogers (The Avalon Foundation)
- Director of Communications: Kathy Hanna (Easton Main Street/Avalon Foundation)
- Director of Human Resources: Elizabeth Tong (Volunteer)
The staff of The Avalon Foundation, will continue to maintain communications with artists and the general public. The Academy Art Museum is expanding its role as a valuable partner, providing an accredited museum venue for the competition exhibit and, among other duties, taking responsibility for naming upcoming judges and jurists.
