The Foundry

The Foundry Community Art Gallery

The FoundryOn April 4th we celebrated the opening of our new community arts building at 401 Market Street, in Denton. Located in Denton's state designated arts & entertainment district, this building currently houses our administrative offices and a community art gallery, The Foundry, where over 20 Caroline County artists and artisans have their work on display to view and sell. Notecards, prints, and other gift items are also available, including wood turned items made from wood salvaged from the building (circa 1850). Proceeds benefit the building restoration and programs. To read more about the history of the building, please download a copy of Wilson's Foundry Dwelling History here.

There's always something going on at The Foundry. For information on upcoming Foundry events, check back frequently or call 410.479.1009. Also on display in The Foundry are over 75 glazed tiles from our Community Tile project.
