| Using age old techniques, Sandy hand weaves traditional baskets into functional or decorative items without the use of tacks or glue. Through a method of weaving, tucking and packing, a unique basket emerges accented by varying rib length patterns designed by Sandy. Natural, dyed and smoked reeds are used along with other natural materials such as seagrass, honeysuckle and grapevine for added appeal. |
