Supporting Memberships
As we witness the growth and changes happening around us, it's nice to know that some of our county's best traditions will continue. The Caroline County Council of Arts, Inc. (CCCA) remains committed to bringing the best of the Arts from the larger world into programs that have been beloved traditions in Caroline County for a generation. This is our 19th year of presenting our traditional free winter/spring performances, previously known as Carnival in Caroline. Beginning this year, this free entertainment will be called The Caroline County Performing Arts Series. We again look forward to helping bring to our neighbors this and other programs that we have enjoyed in the past. These programs include the annual Robert Burns Supper, Short Story Contest, Friday Nites at the Library, Noon Tunes on the Court House Green, Federalsburg Xtravaganza, Greensboro Founder's Day, and Summerfest. The CCCA has brought this rich variety of artistic experiences at no cost or reduced cost to our community. In addition to helping fund these programs, the CCCA awards grants to persons and organizations involved in arts-related activities in our county, ranging from arts for kids to formal artistic programs for adults. The CCCA depends on support in order to continue to provide these activities to you. We are fortunate to receive financial support from local businesses and from various government grants. However, we rely heavily on members like you. Your donations give us greater flexibility in deciding what programs to bring to our county, some of which can only be supported with membership funds. We are in need of more than just financial donations! Wonderful citizens who volunteer their time help tremendously, too. We are always in need of people who are willing to share their time with us. We hope you will join us in any way you can. Simply complete our online membership form and send it to the Caroline County Council of Arts, together with your contribution in the self addressed-postage paid envelope. With your help, the CCCA will continue to enrich our community, one event at a time, and promote the arts. Thank you for helping preserve and develop the Arts in our Community. Sincerely yours, Rita Barker Chairman, Membership Committee |
