Grant Policies
The CCCA makes grants to individuals, artists and performers, government agencies and private nonprofit organizations. Grants are subject to the following policies:
- The CCCA office must receive your completed application at least 2 months before your event occurs.
- Our funds may only be used for the specific purpose(s) detailed in your grant application and approved by the CCCA board of directors.
- You must acknowledge CCCA as a sponsor in all your promotional literatures and press releases. Please save copies for us and submit them with your final report. Our logo should appear on all materials.
- The CCCA only funds event-specific expenses. We do not fund any general operating expenses, regular salaries or general promotion of your organization; nor do we fund purchases of equipment or capital expenses.
- The CCCA will reimburse eligible expenses after the approved event takes place. We will pay up to 50% of arts related expenses for which you have documentation. Expense documentation may be in the form of copies of cancelled checks, paid invoices or other proof of payment that the board deems acceptable. Our funds must be matched by organizational funds or cash income equal or greater than the CCCA grant. You may not use 'in kind' donations as a substitute for cash donations.
- You must submit your final report form within 30 days of your event. We require the following documentation to accompany the final report:
- Proof of payment of eligible expenses.
- Copies of promotional literature that acknowledges support by CCCA.
- Letters to the officials in which you acknowledge the CCCA's support.
- The CCCA reserves the right to withhold grant payment from grantees that don't comply with these requirements.
- All CCCA supported activities must comply with the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
- All grants are contingent upon the receipt by the CCCA of its own funds from grantors and other financial supporters. Funds are projected to be available at the time grants are awarded.
