Bill Staines

www.acousticmusic.com

Anyone not familiar with the music of Bill Staines is in for a special treat. For more than forty years, Bill has traveled back and forth across North America, singing his songs and delighting audiences at festivals, folksong societies, colleges, concerts, clubs, and coffeehouses. Bill's music is a slice of Americana, reflecting with the same ease his feelings about the prairie people of the Midwest or the adventurers of the Yukon, the on-the-road truckers, or the everyday workers that make up this land.

Pressing Strings

www.pressingstrings.com

Mid-atlantic trio Pressing Strings has been busy crafting their blend of rootsy, acoustic rock since they formed in the summer of 2006. Creating original music that does not lend itself to one specific genre or style, the band has continued to grow and evolve since day one. The versatility comes from having two singer/songwriters, each with a style that compliments the other, and a uniquely qualified drummer.

Burning Bridget Cleary

www.burningbridgetcleary.com

Burning Bridget Cleary took form on St. Patty's day of '06 when Genevieve Gillespie joined forces with the father-daughter duo, Lou and Rose Baldino. The combination sparks a blaze of Celtic sound that is perceived way beyond the sum of its parts! The girls front the band with their fiery fiddles, bringing a lively flair of youthful intensity and exuberance to traditional tunes. Lou‘s guitar bestows the dynamic rhythm and bass end, tastefully embellished with distinctive chording. Weaving in some choice vocal numbers and building the energy with some spirited stepdancing, Burning Bridget Cleary has wowed packed audiences for years!

Toby Walker

www.littletobywalker.com

Toby Walker is a unique, accomplished fingerstyle guitar virtuoso. Toby is adept at blues, rags, hot country picking, and coaxes more out of a guitar than anyone can imagine, but the originality doesn't end there. He is also a skilled singer and songwriter who draws inspiration from traditional and contemporary music. Toby takes that musical foundation and creates something uniquely his own and has been eagerly received in various venues including concert halls, festivals and coffeehouses throughout the U.S., England and Europe.

Bob Sima

www.bobsima.com

He is a poet, observer, scribe, sometimes reluctant healer all bundled up into one singing songwriting bundle of energy so tapped in…he kinda needs a glass. His right hand slaps the guitar in a seemingly casual fashion, usually in rhythm with all of the toes in the room. Bob is a different kind of singer-songwriter, there is more than the songs, there is more than the voice, there is more than the stories, yes there is more. Bob truly moves his audiences. He moves their hearts and minds and his concerts are known for evoking full range of emotion. Bob is probably more influenced by the likes of Rumi and Ghandi as he is by Dylan or Guthrie.
